I took a star off because I read this alongside The Loeb Classical Library and that has useful notes throughout that this could've used. But it's not that deep! I am grateful to have all the Hesiod works available in one collection! This was hard to get through at times, which is why it took me a while to read (Wish it was better punctuated. We really lacked commas!), but other times I really enjoyed the writing style. I highlighted several lines just because I liked what was said and how.

I kinda love how Zeus is not just the big guy™️, and actually has character and is unpredictable. I like how the gods are clearly their own race. I don't see the difference between Titans and Olympians tbh, but they've all this extra set of traits that make them distinct from mortals. I noticed the trend of gods eating or just trying to get rid of their own kids!

The Astronomy was right up my alley and I wish we had more of it!
