the characters were outstanding and i never truly knew where this story was going, which i LOVED. the author has an amazing voice and writes so lyrically it was so pleasant to read. a bonus was the short chapters!!

went into this blind, did not expect like any of the twists and turns and mystery of it. a beautifully written novel about a very complex family and the love they have for each other. glad i read this for the mardi gras/ carnival challenge!

A book way different from the movie I remember. Can’t wait to see what the next books have in store.
We follow Percy Jackson as he tries to stop a war between Gods. For the seriousness of that quest, there is a surprising amount of humor in the book which was nice
