So I just started The Cruel Prince series and finished the first book and it was awesome. But, I'm stuck right now. On tiktok, I've seen people say "Oh you need to read this novella before The Wicked King!" and I'm confused because I thought you had to read the original trilogy first, then the novellas. So which is it? I am waiting to start the audio book partly because I don't want to start a book before 2026 because its New Years Eve, and partly because I don't know the order to read them in. What should I read first, The Lost Sisters novella or The Wicked King?

Seeing a lot of introduction posts today from the new years crowd so, Welcome all!!!!! Curious what made you decide to join up! I know for me, I joined December 2024 because of Storygraph's push towards AI and the devs responding negatively to feedback and doubling down. The moment somebody I know told me they heard about a new website that was in development I immediately jumped over here and made my account, deleting my storygraph right after exporting my data and never looked back since ☺️

Hiiii Happy New Year’s Eve! It’s time for Who’s Who Wednesday where every Wednesday we introduce ourselves and make new friends. This is part 12. I think
If you participated any of the times before, you don’t have to introduce yourself again but you can share some different facts about you, an opinion you have, or how your week is going.
If you’re new, introduce yourself!
I’ll go first.
My name is JadeLovesBooks.
My New Year’s resolution is to graduate school and move back home, to California I also want to read a variety of genres in the new year including more nonfiction and sci fi (I already read a ton of different genres but sci fi is my least favorite) Another goal of mine is better time management. I make my own schedule and I tend to be very lenient on myself.
