Tress and Charlie’s dynamic is so sweet already I love them!
Also this is my first Sanderson book and I have no idea if it is typical of his narrator to be talking to the reader, including funny remarks, but I am enjoying it.
Also if anyone knows of any good fanart let me know 😛😛 I can imagine a lot of the world in my head but I would love to see artists interpretations.

“This young man was around the same age as Charlie, but he was six and a half feet tall and had a jaw so straight it made other men question if they were.”
One of the best descriptions of a strong-man character that I’ve ever read. Absolutely fabulous.

They’re bound by flame, united by flight. These books all have dragon riders as part of the plot. Only the first of a series will appear.

If this had been a standalone book, I would’ve been intrigued by the backward / forward thing… but I doubt I’d have made it through Hannah’s story. It felt very much like a love story and that’s not a genre I enjoy. But this was different. It was Hannah and Toby… plus it had just enough mystery in it to keep me reading. I appreciated the few twists added in - made it feel a bit familiar!
