I love this idea! I’ve been using booktower to track my fic reads, I input the url and the site populates all the info for me! And I think it does a Spotify wrapped kind of thing at the end of the year too with how many words read and favorite fandom etc

Thanks for doing that! But right now nothing comes up if I search ‘placeholder’ but that might be more app issues
Pagebound is removing placeholders and is only going to leave one up.
Aww, that would have been nice to know before they deleted them so I could save my tracking. I had multiple fics I was tracking which I guess i can’t do anymore. That really sucks. One of the reasons I moved over to Pagebound was that it has a fan fiction option
Yeah I’m personally just gonna be way more lax on tracking here and just use it for the social aspect since I won’t be able to keep my number accurate here anymore 😢
Same. It was the community plus ability to track fix that made me use Pagebound over StoryGraph, and now I feel like I lost one of the things that made me choose Pagebound.
Yeah i mentioned some similar feelings in my og post about the topic but based on how many down votes I was getting a ton of users here are sadly unsympathetic about our plight. Luckily I also track my reading on notion but a ton of users are gonna have to switch their tracking again when the point was supposed to be everything in one place. (Edit ouch it’s happening again to another user in the club rn ☹️ people are being mean for no reason)
