here's a (currently short) list of books that have genderfluid characters as their MC or LI! I kept looking for lists like this, but mainly found ones for nonbinary characters in general, so I'm starting this from scratch with books I remember having genderfluid characters. All genres and audiences! [open to recommendations! all kinds of genderfluid identities allowed!]

Love this list idea! đ One of the main characters in A Lady for All Seasons by TJ Alexander is genderfluid/bigender/third gender. It's Regency era so obviously not in those words, but it felt more explicitly genderfluid than non-binary to me!

i have to recommend Paul takes the form of a mortal girl which has a main character who changes their sex and gender all throughout the book
