Middle grade, but The Widely Unknown Myth of Apple & Dorothy by Corey Ann Haydu is one of the best explorations of grief, identity, friendship, and family that I've read.
I finished it earlier and I really enjoyed it! Thank you again for the recommendation. You were so right about those topics, especially the grief part ❤️🩹 Just added it to the list 🫶🏻
I'm so glad you liked it! It was one of those books I picked up because I was drawn to the art, but it ended up being so good and has stuck with me the last couple of years.
