(May I suggest The Vegetarian by Han Kang… the most despicable men (husband of the protagonist and brother in law of the protagonist) I’ve ever read are in that book)

Heart the Lover The Fetisishist Both books where I wanted to reach in and shake the female character out of her forgiving stupor, Liars, Sarah Manguso, some readers didn’t like her bitter tone, but can you be too bitter with a guy like that? Book of George, less actively evil and more entitled boy man I love this list idea!
