I'm reading Pearly Gates right now, enjoying it more than I expected, tbh! I've read Immortal Consequences, Under the Whispering Door, The Lovely Bones, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Sign Here, The Love of My Afterlife, and The Ghost Bride. I really liked most of them quite a bit. Under the Whispering Door, The Love of My Afterlife, and Pearly Gates are funny but more sweet, whereas Immortal Consequences and Sign Here are more dark/snark. The Lovely Bones is one I read when I was in high school, I think. It's dark AF at the beginning, definitely check TWs.
