i really need to get on reading all of them LMAO 🏃🏻♀️ but i’m a really big fan of katherine vaz’s work 🥺 she’s the first portuguese-american who has had her work put into the library of congress and she’s written a lot about our specific community here in california as well! i found fado really cool for that reason, and it was a short story collection, so super easy to breeze through imo!!
you just made a list for my mom's next birthday gifts!!!! (I buy my mom books I want to read 😏) This makes me miss visiting my family in Portugal so much :(( (time to put on my fado playlist on repeat and stare at the ceiling)
