I liked “Nothing is Real and Everything is Possible” by Pomerantsev, maybe also Boorstin’s “The Image.” I feel like something building on McLuhan’s “the medium is the message” idea might also fit the reading, like Postman’s “Amusing Ourselves to Death” but idk, it’s been a while since I went down this particular rabbit hole

I'm interested in Dangerous Fictions and The Book Censor's Library after reading Reading Lolita in Tehran; I don't think RLiT is necessarily appropriate for this list bc it's about literature, but it's also about censorship, so you might enjoy it for your personal quest
I'll be sure to take a gander, because I've seen RLiT around before! Fiction with censorship as a theme definitely is relevant to this list :)
