Following the public news of Manga One/Shogakukan hiring convicted sex offenders under new pen names, these manga creators have pulled their work from the Manga One platform and/or have otherwise condemned Shogakukan as a publisher, spoken out against the offenders, and voiced support for the victims.

Yooo thanks so much for compiling all of this

Some mangaka who are not on this list currently due to their works not currently having any works collected on PB (please correct me if this changes!)

Regarding the 'big' names on this list, ONE of One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100 fame spoke out publicly and quite bluntly
Frieren and Rumiko Takahashi's catalogs have been pulled from Manga One, but as the Kalai Chik article points out, they have not publicly commented. However, their works leaving the platform keeps being reported in association with this scandal.
My personal take: Rumiko Takahashi has enjoyed huge success in the manga industry for 40+ years, may have new eyes on her work due to the new Ranma 1/2 anime, and has generally kept her nose clean and her mouth shut. Similarly for the creators for Frieren, the series is hugely popular and would currently have eyes on it due to the highly-anticipated second season of the anime. Quietly pulling their works has still resulted in the impression that they are boycotting, and I find it difficult to believe that this is unintentional due to the timing. However, that's my personal instinct and not a fact.
George Morikawa's comments seem to be more centered around compensating the mangaka who had to associate with the criminals, discussing his dislike of Shogakukan, and pointing out a culture of company departments not knowing what other departments are doing enabling this trouble
UPDATES as of 5/7/26
I was able to personally confirm Inio Asano's statement on X Kazuhiro Fujita expressed disgust and anger toward the situation, sympathy for the victim, and withdrew all of his work from MangaOne. Yasuo Ohtogi withdrew his work from MangaOne. He condemned Shogakukan's apology as insensitive to the victims.
This was originally reported on NamuWiki, which I used to source and personally confirm the relevant posts on X. A rough translation of the victim's account is also given on this page. There was some infighting and arguments between one of the editors involved and some other mangaka which frankly I don't have the energy to dig into atm, and doesn't seem 100% relevant to my primary concern about who is speaking out about the controversy.
Togakawa Yonan of kokufu kyoudan apparently posted on his personal SNS that the mangaka involved is clearly evil and he will no longer be watching MangaOne's YouTube channel. I was not able to personally confirm this at this time, and his series is not catalogued on PB currently, but it seems pretty cool.
Reportedly, Inio Asano spoke out as someone serialized by Shogakukan, pointing out they should not treat this as a Manga One problem but a company-wide one, and that proper financial compensation and opportunities for other serialization placements should be offered to every creative on the Manga One platform who will lose opportunities due to the scandal.
This seems in line with what other creators have said, but the source I've seen on X (animeupdates) started out as a meme page and did not attribute its info in its main post, and X is now hard to comb through without an an account, so I cannot see if they linked a comment or if Asano posted this on his personal acct. I was not able to find any other reporting on this comment. I'm inclined to trust the report because Asano seems like a pretty specific pick, but I always want to note when I can personally verify things I find a little dodgy.
EDIT: I was able to find screenshots on bluesky of Asano's posts in Japanese and this seems fairly accurate, however, again, I could not personally confirm them.

5/22/26 UPDATES
Ai Minase expressed anger and will be removing their work from MangaOne Minoru Takeyoshi also removed their work from MangaOne, but their work is not available on PB currently. Their title 植物病理学は明日の君を願う looks pretty interesting! Konomi Wagata has stopped publishing their work on MangaOne "solely due to their personal feelings" Miko Mitsuki expressed hope for the recovery of the victims and will be removing their work from MangaOne Kazami Sawatari expressed anger toward the situation (calling it "utterly unforgiveable") and does not support the MangaOne editorial department's statement on the situation, expressing skepticism toward the actions taken thus far and called for further investigation, clarification and action. They also expressed hope for the recovery of the victims.
This was sourced from Shogakukan Apologizes for Releasing New Manga by Creator Convicted of Sex Crime Against Minor (Updated) by Crystalyn Hodgkins, which contains further information on the investigation, scandal, legal proceedings and reporting. I personally checked the X Posts that were referenced, but I summarized them myself from the translations.
I was so proud to see some of my favorite mangaka taking a stand! Great list, no notes
Edit: might be time for a reread
