I recommend Waiting For The Night Song by Julie Carrick Dalton. It's a thriller fiction that follows a forestry research looking at how beetles increase forest fire risk.
ooooh that sounds amazing thanks for the rec!
Would you be interested in climate fiction? I haven’t read it yet, but I bought Novaa Prithiv’s The Sea Will Rise Again: A Climate Fiction Tale of Resilience and Hope. The cover is amazing, but I can’t speak to the content yet.
I found it on Goodreads and added it here. It says it was added successfully. Hope that helps!
thank you!!!
I recommend Under Water by Tara Menon 🪼🌊
All The Water in the World by Eiren Caffall might be a good pick for this! The Bog Wife is on my list to read, it also might be a good fit
Hi! Great list 🤩 I would include in this category The Last Wild Horse by Maja Lunde. It’s the only one I have read yet from her series Climate Quartet, but each book can be read as an individual story. The others are: The History of Bees, The End of the Ocean and The Dream of a Tree. Hope these are helpful!! Have a lovely week 🍀
thank you! they sound excellent and I’m super excited to add them to my endless tbr
abosolutely interested in climate fiction! the sea will rise again sounds great but for some reason it isn’t showing up anywhere including here or goodreads
I feel like Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer could be on this list; it's more of climate science fiction BUT still fits the bill. Additionally, How High We Go in the Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu.
