Where did u learn this from? Not that I don't believe im just curious
i started reading it and got a really uncanny valley vibe from it, then looked into it a little further and these things seemed like indicators-
- no "about the author"
- no acknowledgements
- the author was only linked to italian language erotica, and further research suggested she didn't exist
i never finished the book, but the reviews on amazon seemed ai generated so i looked at goodreads instead and people said that there were further odd things that hinted towards it being ai, notably with-
- bullet points
- repetition of scenes and phrases whilst still having parts of the book feel like it was missing a scene
- no cover artist credited, implying it's ai generated
- a book per month release schedule from the author
- nonsensical plot
they also theorised that the book was misattributed to the italian erotica author. of course there is a possibility of it being a really bad mistranslation from italian to english and that it is that author, but it's more likely that it's ai.
I read it like 2 years ago I don't really remember much of it but I do remember it was very mechanical and the characters were super flat and I had a hard time reading and gave it like a 1 star review, I was unaware of the ai. But good to know, I've removed from the list
