I'm only in the second chapter and I'm crying; I can already tell this is going to be an amazing book.

Overall, I really liked this book, but I wouldn't consider it a "cozy fantasy" and I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more if I didn't go into the book expecting that. There's definitely whimsical and cozy parts, but as a whole it's very dark and deals with very real issues in a way that's accessible for various audiences.
It has a good hook but then felt slow for probably the first 60% or so. However, for the last part of the book I couldn't put it down as there was plenty of action and amazing conversations. I also removed a bit for quality because there's some major flaws in the editing (for instance, one of the characters' name changes 3 times throughout the book).
