I’ve been in such a reading slump; the only books I’ve read in months has been for School (my course load is killing me). I’m praying that this takes me out of my reading slump. 🙏🏻 please book gods.

Whether it's sci-fi or fantasy, you like a big series. You love when a book says 1 of 5/10/50+. Is the reading order of the series hotly debated? Is there a wiki chart to show how the books connect? Even better. Come spend some time in these worlds.

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.

For being from 500 BCE, it surprisingly holds up really well. Antigone is iconic, and I related a lot to her stubbornness and her sticking to her beliefs. All the lore you need to know to understand this book is insane, and ancient Greeks were really on another level with this huge world they created. I enjoyed it, which definitely surprised me because I thought it was going to be boring (I read it for a class).
