What is your current favorite snack when reading? Some snacks I tend to choose (I like savory snacks): - red wine vinegar chips - Fig Crackers with any type of cheese - Hot Cheetos (thank goodness for ereader clicker) - Homemade Popcorn - Cucumbers w/ SsamJang - Chip and dip of any type haha

On the journey to lower my children's screentime, my husband and I have been doing the same. It was easier than we thought, mainly because we were so unimpressed with all the current TV shows. Since picking up reading fiction again, it has scratched my itch for entertainment without a screen. The kids see us read more, and so they also mirror us and pick up their books more. Has anyone else experienced the lack of entertainment on TV Shows, or is it just me? Have I finally understood the love for reading over TV? And if I am missing out, I am down to find a new show to watch with my hubby here and there. Give me your suggestion.

How long do you give a book before DNFing? I usually give it 100 pages, and only go further if it has enough potential that it *might* get better. If the book is especially poorly written or I really don’t like it, it might be a lot less 😂
