Perhaps you constantly put this book on your TBR and don't read it, walk passed it at the book shop or even borrow it from the library and return it unread?
I go book shopping and there is a book that has intrigued me for years! I pick it up reread the blurb and think 'I would like to read this' and put it back and buy something else. This book is Remarkably Bright Creatures (this is now being made into a movie, so it must good/interesting?!).
Does anyone else do this or something like it? What book is it?

There’s something about BK’s writing that just envelopes you with warmth. I am so excited to continue Jackson and Delilah’s story, they are just leaping of the page and into my heart.

This was very cute! I’m giving it a 3.75, rounded to 3.5 stars for pagebound ratings.
The start was a bit rocky for me~~ I was worried it might feel too young or a bit cringe. But once I pushed through, I really started to enjoy it, especially after the world was established and the magic seemed to appear around every corner. I love the idea of a magical, faraway inn in the countryside where people can visit and relax. The vibes were definitely cosy, like Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place meets Ghibli!~~ warm, comforting, and at times a little silly.
I wish this had been around when I was a teen, and I’m glad this cosy story exists for the next generation of readers.

Doesn't even have to be your favorite book, or hell even one you really liked. But something you read that just oozed atmosphere to the point of sticking with you?
Related to ooze, The Haar by David Sodergren was a horror novel I read a few years ago. The descriptions of the remote Scottish fishing village where the story takes place were just so vivid, and everything felt so realized to me that I could just close my eyes and be there experiencing the intrigue and dread.
Maybe it's more of a me thing, but that kind of experience is so rare in a book that when it does come about it really sticks with me.
