1 billion/5 stars. This book has reinforced so many feelings and ideas I've had over the last few years. Being a good neighbor and citizen, giving often and freely, spending energy to build a community, I could go on and on. I feel so grateful to have an abundance in my life, and to be able to live where I do, in an area where I'm able to grow food and flowers, and give away excess. I feel like reading this book has changed my brain chemistry a bit, in a good way. I've been feeling so cynical lately, and reading this has made me feel like I can really make a difference in my small ways.

I'm planning on recommending this book to everyone I know, and buying a few copies so that I can have them around to lend out and reread. Also going to add every book this author has ever written to my tbr.

Thoughts from 70% (page 295) End Act III

    1. I don't deny that M.L.Rio has some flaws in her writing, but the way she describes events, places, characters, I find it so vivid and immersives and so easy to imagine it all unfolding in your mind, the masquerade ball is the perfect example.

    2. I'm surprised that, although I'm not familiar with Shakespeare's writing, I could follow most of the dialogue and understand what's going on.

    3. I'm still waiting for Oliver to have some kind of character development:))
