  • Slump hack - just stop finishing books!

I'm so stressed at work, so I keep starting new books instead of finishing them! I'm on my 12th consecutive work day, so I'm dead tired when I get home. I know that anything I finish right now will feel laskluster because *I* simply don't have energy. And I don't want to ruin any of my books so I just start a new audiobook every day I clock in hahaha

  • Looking to get into YA/Romance hype

Hey community and friends, I'm looking to get into the Romance or "YA" fiction books that are super hyped. They must be good if they are so famous, right? Stuff like Maze Runner or Song of Achilles. Are they worth reading? I usually read heavy old classics like Crime and Punishment, Les Misérables and Emma. Can anyone recommend a modern, chic and popular novel that's so hyped but the quality is superb (I enjoyed Funny Story).

  • Longest Quest

I know The Karamazov Brothers and War and Peace are excruciatingly long, so I'm guessing that 4-5 other books are as well. This quest may take 2 years to complete....

  • Finally reading Crime and Punishment and...

...two observations: 1) It still reads pretty well (reading in Russian), even though some words/phrases are obv outdated 2) I'm glad that I skipped it in high school (i was too cool for reading), because there's no way the 16-year-old me could've engaged with it the way it needs to be engaged with. I'm enjoying it a lot!!
