Forced into unending sleep or perilous insomnia, repeating tedious daily routines until your body rots, watching as your skin starts to glow or your hands sprout scales—these novels feature illnesses that are far from typical.

I’m looking for M/F romance recs that are more body diverse than what Ali Hazelwood writes. I enjoy most of her books but I am honestly annoyed that almost all of her FMCs are short and thin and the MMCs are described the same as very big and broad shouldered ect.
For context I’m newish to the contemporary romance genre. I mostly read fantasy or romantasy but I have recently learned that I do enjoy the occasional contemporary romance like Emily Henry’s Great Big Beautiful Life (this is the only Henry I have read). I’ve enjoyed India Holton’s books a lot but those lean more fantasy in my opinion. I also enjoyed the Bridgerton books but I hate the promiscuous boy vibe in those.
I prefer little to no spice or books where I can easily skip the spice. I like rivals, enemies, morally grey characters, forced proximity and fake dating a lot.
I am looking for minimal graphic language as I don’t enjoy lots of cursing on audio and it needs to have a good audiobook narrator.
Ideas?? Thank you in advance, Boundlings 🥰

Since March has officially ended what was everyone's favourite book this month? (If you can't choose a favourite then choose a top 3!) Mine was definitely Releasing 10 by Chloe Walsh 💕

Today's prompt brought to you by the cover of N.R. Walker's Upside Down.
Pick a colour, purple vs pink. Vote by suggesting a book with that colour cover. You can vote for both if you want.
I'm going to use childhood faves this week 🩷 - Jewels of Fairyland by Shirley Barber 💜 - Witch Way Did She Go? by Paul Ruditis

Personally, I don't cover my book when I read it in public 👀 because I don't see any problem with the book I read. But, maybe I'll consider it if it's classified as a "banned-book"

From the author's intro How to Read This Book:
As in real life, good behavior is not always rewarded and bad decisions can sometimes lead to wonderful (and not-so-wonderful) results.
Life is full of surprises, both fair and unfair, and I love this book so much because that idea is captured so well.

Tell me the secret, he thought, wishing he'd been born to Ozzie Nelson or Bill Cosby, those paragons of American fatherhood.
Oh honey, I have some bad news for you...
