I just want to say that I love the new feed tab on every book, I love seeing how many people are reading a book at the same time as me etc. This feature (and Pagebound in general) makes reading feel like much less of a solitairy activity for me

I picked this book up because I was intrigued by the Greek gods in modern times aspect and whilst the idea was interesting, I found the overall reading experience a bit of a let down.
The book reads far more like a YA book rather than an adult fantasy, with characters who feel one-dimensional and a world that never becomes truly realised. The various nods to Greek gods/goddesses and items added a nice touch of magic throughout the book, and the trials that are included in the Crucible add a creative flair and keep the pace moving quickly.
But the average writing and plot development, banter that feels like it’s trying too hard, a romance that felt shallow and a female main character who I really didn’t connect with at all meant that I didn’t enjoy this read as much as I was hoping to.

I’m enjoying looking at the book feeds & my brain immediately honed in on how many people have marked each title as finished. So I, of course, had to see which book I’ve read had the least other people mark it as finished. Mine was Dulce Sloan’s memoir, Hello Friends; which I read for book club at work. Only 6 people have marked it as finished (& one of them read it for that same book club). EDIT: I went back further & found one only 3 people had logged but I’m not sure I should count it since it was for work haha. (It’s Mickey Mouse in Death Valley)
So what’s yours?
