I’ve been wanting to try and read more classics. I checked out the Classic Quests Vo. 1 and 2, and joined them, but they’re not exactly what I’m looking for at this point in time. A few that are already on my list to read are Pride and Prejudice, War and Peace, Lolita, and Wuthering Heights. I also haven’t read practically any classic YA books like Catcher in the Rye or Lord of the Flies. I’m honestly just looking for a place to start. Any suggestions are appreciated. 🙂

Can’t really leave a review on this cause I was watching the tv show in my head as I read the book.
When I read “I’m coming to the cottage” my brain instantly started playing the edm edit.
Is my brain rotted maybe but I’m okay with it.

What an ending! I was practically sobbing.
What a batch of characters, especially Miss Flitworth, Mrs. Cake, and Ludmilla (and the Countess). There’s not a lot of plot. Things happen, sure, and some of those things are weird. But I don’t care about any of it. Read this one for the characters and the dialogue. Better yet, listen to the audio. (The way the Boogeyman sounds like the goth in The IT Crowd’s basement 🤣) Just be prepared to 😭 at such seemingly innocuous lines as “My friends!” or “This was your life.”
Don’t miss this one. May Bill Door live forever!

“What’s this one called?”
“Tango.”
“Can you get put in prison for it?”

Why is the Harvest Dance making me 😭? I’m at work. I can’t be having this now!
I love Bill Door and Miss Flitworth.

I was looking into getting the audiobook of ‘The Princess Bride’ and saw the only copy is abridged. Why do people want shorter versions of the books they wanna read?? Or is it a popular opinion that abridged versions are meh.
I’m sad that there isn’t a full version of The Princess Bride 💔 although it’s interesting that the director of the movie adaption voices the abridged version. I personally think all audiobooks should be the full text, imagine buying a smaller version of a physical book with parts left out! It doesn’t make sense to me personally.
