I enjoyed the book, although its not something I will re-read. The first and last stories were my favourite and I definitely connected with the first character more. Looking for a way to enjoy daily life rather than just exisisting. I think my enjoyment was changed by the cultural aspect of things as well, some things were done in a way that is culturally normal for them but to me seem very strange. Would reccomend for those curious!

What are some online book club reccs? I am an introvert and I much prefer to meet and discuss books online! I am looking for bookclubs that either you all read the same book at different paces or where you kinda just come together to discuss the books you are reading. Also what do you look for in a book club? What do you like dislike about them? I love building up/being a part of a community with a shared interest. The con for me is that I can be a slow reader/mood reader so it can be hard to keep up with sometimes!!

Decision Paralysis

I sat down today to figure out what to read next and I am OVERWHELMED!! My TBR has 300+ books on it, and so many of them are unfinished series. Any tips for shaking off the paralysis? Do you wait till a series is completed to start it? Should I just full send and start them with no anticipated end?

BE EXCITED WITH ME - NEW INDIE BOOKSTORE

I haven’t been to an indie bookstore in my hometown ever. They’ve never had one and have only had a Barnes & Noble (or a Borders way back in the day before it closed) so I’ve only experienced the joy of indie bookstores on vacation which isn’t too often for me with my job and not getting much PTO. Well let me tell you!!! AN INDIE BOOKSTORE JUST OPENED THIS WEEK IN MY HOMETOWN LESS THAN 5 MIN FROM MY HOUSE!!! When I tell you I rannnnn to go there I absolutely mean it. I was so excited. And the best part? It was probably the nicest indie bookstore I’ve ever been in. It was so charming and had the largest fantasy and sci-fi sections and the most lovely kids area. I had a blast. I’ve never had a book budget and I think I just might need to plan for one now because it was honestly such a delight.

I don’t have any book friends irl (who knows maybe I’ll make some by frequenting there) but in the meantime I had to tell my Boundlings besties!!! I AM SQUEALING WITH DELIGHT 🥰🫶🏻
