  • Home Library Organization

How do you all organize use your home library? Alphabetical by title, by author, by genre, or another method? I’m really curious to know what everyone does. TIA!

  • What are some of the weirder things you've read cover to cover?

Have you ever read a dictionary cover to cover? Or an encyclopedia? A thesaurus? A car manual? A very niche magazine about tractor engines?

My mum tried to get me to read the dictionary cover to cover when I was a child, but I only got to the end of c before getting too bored. I did read an encyclopedia of the human body, though.

On flights I read the evacuation and emergency pamphlets cover to cover every time 🫡

Before using a new piece of equipment/machinery I'll literally read the manual cover to cover like a book before touching anything 😂

  • Guilty Pleasure Authors??

I’ve been reading my entire life, like staying up for days. I mean in elementary school not sleeping for three days to read Junie B Jones or the Magic Treehouse books- my entire life. When I got out of high school I picked up Nora Roberts and ATE THEM UP! But then people started making fun of me as social media became a place for readers to gather. They told me I was reading their grandma’s books and it kinda made me read more of what I was seeing on social media and less of what I had on my shelf. I am turning 30 this year and realize that there is no wrong way to read and honestly, a lot of the insta/tiktok books aren’t for me. And I truly believe there is no guilty pleasure authors. But if you had to say you had one, what is yours??
