Another phenomenal book from Muir, and proof that her style and storytelling ability are more than just a fluke, carried by the personality that is Gideon the Ninth.
Harrow is a deeply interesting protagonist, and this is one of the only examples of second person narration that feels not only well done, but deeply necessary and vital to the story.
Also, I'm never eating soup again...

Tamsyn Muir has a deeply intriguing writing style. Her mastery of the english language is such that she can write an amazingly descriptive, evocative sentence, that sounds like it came from the mouth of someone with CTE and a handle of vodka in their system.
I cannot praise her style enough, which isn't to mention how deeply loveable the main character, Gideon, is.
