Reading this via audiobook, and LOVING it!!!! It’s so much fun listening to Andy Serkis give yet another performance of a lifetime. When I got to the Gollum and riddles scene it was like I was transported. Also I’m loving how chill Thorin is in the book vs the movies lol 😂

This was so enjoyable!! I loved Rosie as a character, and I think Dominic was actually a very realistic male love interest. Unfortunately in our society lots of boys grow up into men who don’t know how to show their emotions or talk about them, and I thought Dominic was a good example of how to finally grow out of that. Was he frustrating me almost the whole book? Yes. But do I think that he grew from his mistakes and setbacks? Also yes. I think this is the first second-chance romance I’ve read that I genuinely enjoyed the journey back together for each main character. This book made me feel like I was in therapy!! In a good way!! Things that weren’t for me was basically all the deceit in this book, from multiple characters, and the big event at the end felt a little cheesy to me haha.

When I finish the books I'm currently reading, I'm definitely starting to read this. Just saw it in one of Cecilia's shorts, checked what was it about, and yes. If you guys read it and would recommend, I would like to hear your thoughts✨️

This book was fun! Always good banter and cuteness overload with Tessa Bailey books, and this book was no exception. I will say I saw the twist at the end coming because there weren’t too many ways the main issue could be resolved, but that’s okay. I think one of the things I enjoyed the most was the representation of a music career for a young woman. As a professional musician/young(ish) woman myself, this was well done in my opinion and I felt a kinship with Chloe (despite not being a prodigy myself, she still went through many of the steps that I did). I loved seeing a “prodigy” who was confident without being arrogant, and pushed herself to do more than just be good. Chloe didn’t want to be good. She wanted to be extraordinary. A vision held by most musician’s I’d say. Anyways, very enjoyable, good tension, and fun time. 💕

Scratch that, chapter 89 is the most upsetting thing I’ve read this year.
