I did enjoy this book, but I just don't think I really like long action packed scenes with lengthy descriptions. I did not see the reveal coming however ! Quite an addictive read overall.

This was less enjoyable to me than the first one. Things felt a bit more predictable, and overall I was not as motivated to keep reading. I did quite enjoy the childhood and background of the entire family, but I do not really see where this whole thing is going. I am still going to read the third and final part of this trilogy though !

Great read ! Frantic rythm, good cooking, unbearable suspense, grim intentions, divorce, this book has got it all ! I did not find this story mind blowing but it was a great read nonetheless.

This book left me speechless ! I absolutely loved the different points of view of the women in this, and how their relationships with other women were depicted. Rythm was lovely, enticing from the beginning. I am almost nostalgic at the ending !

I enjoyed this one a little less than I enjoyed the first, which was not much to begin with. Confirmed : I am not the targeted demographics for this kind of book ! And that's OK !! It was cute, but I did not enjoy the pace : it felt like something was happening, and all of a sudden something else happens, and repeat. I did not particularly enjoy the kind of romance going on (but then again : I don't usually enjoy romance at all). Also I felt like the transitions between some chapters were quite rough ! Overall it felt quite childish to me and I really had to push through to finish it.

I really enjoyed this ! A great book about sisterhood and motherhood, and about the foster system. Some parts were a little bit too good to be true but I enjoyed the many twists a lot ! The girls were very endearing, and it is as if each of them represented a different way to deal with their common situation.
