The best way I'd recommend this book is if you want a quick snack and palette cleanser between books. It was easy to read, gave you the info you needed about the world's magic and laws so you didn't need to have your brain on too hard, and gave a quite enjoyable relationship from start to finish from initial attraction to realising their feelings and going for it. I liked that Della was snooty in her princess sonna, and although realistically she should've been more anxious about not being able to act fully like a princess considering her upbringing, I honestly did not mind at all having a super confident imposter for once. My one gripe with the writing was the overuse of the characters names when reading about what they were doing. Literally counted Galeon's name 5 times in one single paragraph. I wish we had had "the knight" or even the old style fanfic way of "the honey coloured eye woman", "the strong woman", or some other sort of descriptor instead of just the name or pronouns.
None the less, really enjoyed this read, for me the sex scenes were perfect, not too much nor too little.
Really looking forward to future books set in this world so we can learn more of the world building and magic system ✨✨
