So far I hate the writing style of this and I’m questioning why it’s so popular but I’m hoping to eat my words. The way backstory and world building is getting shoehorned into this book is grating; one of my pet peeves with books is when dialogue is constantly interrupted to provide more context, and there’s a lot of that so far.

Hey all...
Wondering if any of you know of good, reputable books on PCOS that include dietary and other lifestyle recommendations. My daughter has PCOS, and while it screws with her hormones as you might expect, and while she has some insulin resistance, her doctors don't want to medicate her for that. She's not a very big person and they told her at her current BMI she was better off using diet and lifestyle to address it.
I could benefit from some of the same lifestyle changes, so she and I are going to work on a plan together and then both implement it and check in now and again. However, there is a lot of information online and in books, some of which looks about as reputable as snake oil, and some of which I'm not sure about. I know we have a community of people here who are educated on all kinds of different topics, so I thought I'd throw it out there. I want to make sure whatever sources I use are backed up science.
Thanks!
