Question: Do I have to read this before entering Six of Crows?

Which should I read first? I’m all about world building, but does Six of Crows not have that?

CONVINCE me that this book is not a love letter for her husband.

i love kuang’s critique to the academia world, i also love how we can see alice’s mind transform within hell. she may had not gotten what she came for, but it’s sure as hell worth the price.

out of all the books she had, this one it the more visually engraved inside my head. (it might have something to do with my interest in hell).

and reading this towards the new year, left me with a resolution that i have been searching for in this existential phase of my life.

loved peter and his brilliant theories, loved elspeth and her adventurous journey, loved hozier’s “son of nyx” for accompanying the journey, and loved archimedes 🐈‍⬛ for its warm presence.

safe to say, the best read of the year 💐
