I find myself stuck and zoning out during pieces of this book. I find the world interesting but am also struggling I think for the story to pick up. Someone convince me to keep going

I’m from Baltimore and this was so sweet and truly made me love their little world. As someone who doesn’t live in MD anymore it made me feel very warm towards the characters and world, the story was sweet, pacing was good.

I went to Indigo today (a large bookstore chain for those not in Canada/USA) as I got a gift card for Christmas and it was my birthday today soooo I took advantage of the extra savings! 🥳📚
BUT MY REAL QUIERY: as I was walking around, I saw people sitting at tables, on benches and chairs, all reading books and magazines. So, do people use these large bookstores like a library? Are they studying? Seeing if they like the first chapters of a book to then buy it? I’m very curious! What do you use the seating spaces for? What do you use the large bookstores for (other than purchases)?

An introduction to the Romance genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.
