the whirlpool of emotions voyne is in, her anger and her exhaustion, is written about so beautifully I feel like I'm in a trance reading it. but what has me especially hooked is the slow unravelling of her faith that's taking clearly root in her heart.
I've never thought myself that big of a fan of religious imagery before, but god this is so fucking good it might just... convert me into one.

two chapters in and I'm in LOVE. god this is perfect. every character introduced so far has me so intrigued but the female characters (especially ser voyne and phosyne) got me in a chokehold to continue reading just so I can see more of them.
