The book is having the intended effect on me, I feel. June. Some stories are not MEANT to be universal. They are specific and nuanced and important. You should not have to see yourself in a character to give a fuck. Now hold this grenade- oops!

i really loved this one. Yellowface was hilarious and just as equally infuriating. the protagonist’s personality goes triple platinum for Ragebait Supreme (as intended). June Hayward exhibits levels of cognitive dissonance that i hope to never achieve 🙂↔️
