Love this list so much!!
I come bearing a (quite long đ ) list of suggestions for your lovely list of LGBTQ+ anthologies, I hope that's okay đ„č
A few of these are already on the list but I'll be adding the rest! Thank you! 𫶠:)
Sorry about the doubles đ my computer kept going non-responsive while I was trying to cross-check đđ
I havenât heard of any of these, Iâll have to look into them! Thank you!
I haven't read nearly enough anthologies... I gotta get on that
If you're into weird west vibes, Dead Cowpokes Don't Wrangle is lots of fun!
No promises that I'll read it, but I'll add it to the list! (I'm using this more as a community collection than a list of books for me to read)
Trans and disabled edited by Alex Iantaffi is a good anthology đłïžââ§ïžđ
Adding now!
May I also suggest âSweet Teaâ by E. Patrick Johnson. Itâs an oral history of Gay Black men in the south âșïž
Ooooh that sounds so interesting! Adding now!
Yes!! Itâs really eye opening on certain topics about identity and location! Itâs not really an anthology but more so an introspective collection of short stories but âBlack Folk Could Flyâ by Randall Kenan is also good! I try to recommend it whenever I can
Eyes guts throats bones -is a horror anthology of short stories by the same author
Adding now!
Nothing to add, just that I love this list and will be adding these to my plan. â€ïžđłïžâđ
If you want to buddy read any of them, let me know! đ«Ąđ«¶
There's the Transcendent series of trans-centric anthologies! Also Common Bonds is ace/arospec stories
Added Common Bonds! Who's the author/editor for Transcendent? There are a lot of books with that title. Or is that just the series title and the books have different ones?
the books have different authors, but I believe there's 4-5 of them and if you add Anthology at the end, they should come up! The subtitle is usually "the years best transgender speculative fiction"
Ok, thanks! I'll add them now then :)
