i'd like to recommend House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig :)â¨
yep, it was on my to-add list, you just beat me to it. it's on there now!
nvm just saw that you've added it đ i've been too impatient đ
no worries haha, I feel like that naturally happens every time there is a list with more than like 10 books on it, because it takes a minute to add everything you have in mind, it's all good
Love this list! 12 Dancing Princesses was my favorite as a kid. In undergrad I took a folk and fairy tales class where we had to do a paper on a retelling. I chose 12 Dancing Princesses and the picture book Brothers of the Knight. Itâs fabulous! The sisters are now Black brothers who sneak off in magical sneakers to escape their minister father and dance the night away through the city. Would highly recommend.
Oh and also Iâd love to know maybe your top three books from this list. Donât think Iâve read any but Iâd love to.
that's SO cool!! thank you for sharing!!
