RF Kuangs works are a good example of this, so is the Broken Blades by Mai Corland. Oh and Six of Crows. And all of VE Schwabs works! So many good books with queer characters, without it centering the queerness 😁

Oh oh!! Thirteen Storeys by Jonathan Sims!! It's horror (more in the creepy style, not scary) and there's three queer characters and a trans character as well!! They're all clearly queer, but their sexuality isn't the focus of any of the stories. They just exist. (Two of them you only find out later, but that's a subplot thing).

Yup! This and another one I've yet to read. A good friend of mine loaned me Thirteen Storeys. He's a big TMA fan, too!

The Final Strife by Saraa El-Afifi and Nevernight by Jay Kristoff are possible suggestions!

Would This Is How You Lose the Time War count for this?
