Omg yes I need this. I find long series so daunting 😗

Thank you for this list! A few recomendations could be:

  • City of Bones by Martha Wells
  • The Legend of Uh by Aaron N. Hall
  • Dreadful by Caitlin Rozakis

Martha Wells has two novels which are set in the same city a bit more than 100 years apart and play no role in one another, The Element of Fire and Death of the Necromancer, but given the shared universe maybe it's not really a good fit...

Omg thank you, I'll add all of those to the list! I think standalone novels that share a world still count, I included Priory of the Orange Tree in this list even though it's in a similar boat. As long as they can be read separately with no prior knowledge!
