LOL it's because one of the characters has that surname, but I would imagine the author didn't remember or know that because otherwise idk about you but I wouldn't give my character that surname 😂

American Dreamer by Adriana Herrera, the first in her Dreamer series of MM romances that also fits the bill. Haven’t read it yet but it’s on my TBR list along with the rest of the series.
