I've loved every single SJ Tilly book that I have read. The spice be spicing! I especially loved Nero and Latte Darling. Sooo good.

Yes, her spice scenes are so good. I still remember Doms book. The airport scene…Come on! 😂 🥵

its not a romance in the same way as most of these (there is romance in the book, however it’s more of a fantasy/found family story) but the house in the cerulean sea has a plus sized male mc!
also i didn’t enjoy this book personally, but leah on the offbeat has a fat mc and i know people who enjoyed it so i’m recommending it for this list anyway! it’s a YA sapphic romance

Oh! Also! Katee Robert has several books with plus sized fmcs and mmcs, I can’t remember exactly which books but they’ve written several across a couple different series, mainly Dark Olympus and Wicked Villains series

I know you have some Kayla Grosse on here already but Trick Shot is so good and if you’re open to monster romance there’s A Soul to Heal by Opal Reyne, however it is the second in a series and I do recommend reading them in order.

Not a romance, but the Six of Crows duology has Nina Zenik. While her being fat is not explicitly stated, there is a lot of subtext about it. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking for a story where being fat is important to the narrative, since she is one of six mcs, all of whom get perspectives. I dont think her own perspective spent much time on being fat, either. That aside though, its still an amazing series with a great storyline.
