I can't take credit for the idea, I've seen a bunch of other users here doing the same. However, as a person who almost only read queer books, I wanted to focus on just that đĽ°
This is such a fun list!!! One of the first books I came across in Tiny Bookshop was Chain Gang All-Stars and the scream I scrumpt when I saw it!! It's my number 1 go to rec IRL (and unfortunately was not the rec I needed for the game) and I hope more people check it out because of the game!!
I read Chain-Gang All-Stars last year, and it was one of my three favourite books of 2025. I can literally see my copy right now from where I'm sitting (slouching) on the couch.
I definitely hope more people check it out, and that the game can help with that. I'm head of inventory at a queer bookstore, and have stocked it for us several times đ

And a fellow person of culture I see. There's definitely books on this list that the game hasn't tagged as queer with me very much disagreeing with that categorisation (yes, I might have been cursing loudly over it while playing - "Moira, what the fuck do you mean this isn't queer???" etc)
