  • reading in other languages

a question for you all: how did you start reading in languages that weren't your own? in particular if the "new language" wasn't English? I'm finding myself struggling with this I've started reading in English some years ago, and even though I thought I'd struggle i actually had no problems with it (except some particular uncommon words, that I still find even in my mothertongue) I've been wanting to do the same for months now, with two other languages I'm studying, french and spanish I can mostly understand literary texts, even older ones (like 1800s french) but I can't seem to force myself at starting an entire book in that language. I've thought about fanfics, but even there it seems much a struggle to even search for them any tips on the situation?

  • Do you dream about books?

I was wandering if anyone dreams about the books they are currently reading? The last time it happened to me was when I was a kid and I would love to experience that again but it just never happens…

  • I can fix him (no really, I actually can’t)

We all have those fictional characters that we joke about being able to fix or make better, but is there anyone that you think ā€œgod you are wayyyyyyy beyond help at this point?ā€ Because I think this of my darling Eli Ever from the Vicious Series and also the godfather of this thought process; Mr Victor Frankenstein.

  • Books everyone should read at least once!

What is a book or series you would recommend that you believe everyone should read in their lifetime? Even if they tell you it’s not their type of genre or style etc. You just really believe it’s worth giving a chance.

What book would you like to forget and read all over again for the first time to experience it again? šŸ¤”šŸ’šŸ“–

For me would be the Vampire Academy series. 😊 It's soooo good and not so cliche for vampire lore. šŸ©øšŸ§›ā€ā™‚ļø
