I loved reading this. Every second of it actually. The whole time I was thinking about my sister and my relationship with her and our own addictions. Bonnie was my favourite, but Lucky and Avery grew on me with their accountability.

I don’t care about deity and mortality and fate and wrong bone in her body. I ship them 🐒

This one kinda messed with me, not going to lie. But I talk about it alllll the time lol Really enjoyed the story and how wild it was!

Yes, there is a plot. Technically. There’s also action, but mostly, well… that. It is unapologetical smut you don’t go in expecting Shakespeare. But honestly? It’s fun, it’s unhinged, and it does exactly what it promises. Perfect little evening brain-off read. Like a lil brainrot in literary form.

Well maybe a little ashamed, but Ash seems to be one of the best male copulants from all the smut books I read. Is he a tree? Yes. Does he have the emotional capacity better than most men? Yes. He is a very thirsty tree, I love that for Milly 😌

I should not have read other posts in the forum before reading this book. What kind of crazy story is this going to be? 😭😭😭

Surprisingly delightful little gem. I picked it up during my visit to Scotland, expecting some fluffy filler cosy fantasy and then suddenly boom feelings. The magic system is gorgeous, creative, and described in a way that makes you want to immerse yourself in it. The characters actually grow (I know, shocking), and the romance? Soft boy-loves-boy excellence with just enough yearning to activate the serotonin receptors.
The pacing dances dangerously close to “just one more chapter at 2 AM”, and the forced proximity trope is used responsibly and ethically addictive. There’s also a sprinkle of academy vibes, because apparently I’m incapable of resisting that environment like a moth to an academic lamp.
Can’t wait for the next part, mostly because I need closure, emotional fulfilment, and probably more trauma bonding between the boys.

10/10 would let this book ruin my sleep schedule again.

Loving the characters so far. The emotional damage potential is immaculate. Shipping hard. Leo’s clearly on a self-destruct speedrun -> relatable content. Honestly, surprised this hasn’t blown up on BookTok yet.
