hi! i'd like to know if i'm the only one who feels this way 💔 i love to buy books secondhand because i'm not really the choosy type that wants the pages to be crisp and those kinds of things. i like to save money but still enjoy the feeling of holding and reading a physical book. but my gosh, it is so difficult for me to actually decide if i want to buy the book's physical copy or not. i check the reviews of a book and if i see one bad review i start to hesitate 😓 idk how to fix this "habit" of mine. pls help lol.

Who doesn't love hate reading a book? It let's you take your frustrations on the book. 😌 What I want to know is, what was your favorite hate read? Like you were so pissed of by the book that you liked hate reading it. 😄 I think my most recent was The Rose Bargain. I guessed the plot being like 20% into the book and had to hate read it just to finish it. I couldn't tolerate half of the characters too. But my favorite has to be Shadow and Bone. I was so pissed of by everything. That's also why I didn't read the rest of the books. 😂 It only works when I don't know I'm going to hate it. 🤷‍♀️

It's a bit embarrassing to admit but this book is my first close look to greek mythology, I was not entirely unaware of the god's names or a few details but I never found much interest in learning more about the myths, until my mom gifted me this book a few weeks ago. So far with Circe I feel like I can go deeper into this world and I'm very excited !!
