Tips for cutting down tbr and interested?

I use interested for books im curious about reading but dont have a lot of feeling for. But now ive got like 300 books between the two shelves. I need to cut them down as am overwhelmed. I have my own shelves like “excited tbr” etc. But any other tips?

    Thank you!!!

EDIT: i mean like tips on how to decide if a book is truly one for the tbr? A la marie kondo “does it spark joy”? Or “would u wash or throw away this item if it got poo on it”?

  • Building Reading Stamina

Any tips for building more reading stamina? My attention span these days has been dwindling (thanks TikTok 😂) and realize that reading for longer periods of time is more difficult. Miss being able to lock into a book!

I'm totally hooked. I love the way Kimmerer writes, it's like she's next to me just talking- and I can taste, smell, and hear everything she's describing.

  • 2026 buzzword challenge

i'm so excited, you guys! for the past maybe three? four? years i have been loosely creating my yearly tbr based on the buzzword challenge by booksandlala, one of my favourite booktubers. i look at the prompts and gather up any and all books that might fit (VERY liberally) and then each month i use a randomizer and select my reads based on that restricted pool instead of the whole tbr. the list for 2026 just dropped and i immediately filled up the prompts and now i'm sooo eager to begin anew!

does anyone know about this challenge? and if so, how do you go about participating?
