I love Maggie Smith's poetry. It is lyrical and symbolic without being dense, and beautiful even when I don't have the same life experiences needed to understand to the same depth. This book is hope filled because it doesn't sugar coat. Highly recommend- I just wish it were longer!

This book is incredibly atmospheric and reads like music, somehow? It's such a fun, disorienting story that sucks you in- highly recommend!

If you think real world societies are bad (you'd be right)... get a load of *these.*

This book is incredibly well written, but incredibly hard to read- even as a person who does not have a lot of triggers. High quality, but read with caution.

I am shocked by how extensive an acting/dance history Kelly Bishop has that I never knew about! She’s incredible!

Hey y'all! Poetry seems to be a much quieter genre on this app, so I wanted to see if anyone in this quest might be interested in doing an unofficial readalong, perhaps in March? If there is interest I could make up a list of quest titles to vote on so people could get it purchased or checked out from the library. I think it could be cool to read a couple poems a day (depending on how long the collection is) and talk about them together! I especially think this could be helpful for people who are new to poetry and unsure how to navigate it. Let me know what you think!

Very weird book. If high magical realism isn't "a thing," might not this book start that?
