More than man's best friend
Non-fiction books about personal experiences and connections made with wild animals. These books were chosen based on the relationship between author and animal, mostly from rehabilitation perspectives or what we can learn from them, and not to encourage captivity or harm conservation efforts.

What book do you want to read? I'm not talking about a book that has been written already. I'm talking about a book you want written. A dream book. An ideal book. The book you want to reaf before you die.
Do you have any idea of the themes, the characters, the plot? Is it a mirror of your own experiences or a window to a wholly different world?
Mine has always been a (non biographical) mirror to my own experiences. Aside from anything else it's to have another aspec experience so questioning people can see another angle.

Are you the type of person to comment or post more on Pagebound?
Personally, I've noticed I comment MUCH more than I post. Sometimes I don't post for a book at all. I only do so when I have something to say. Meanwhile, I feel like comments spark much more discussion (imo ofc) bc sometimes I can't exactly explain my point on a book, but then someone might make a post on it, then I can engage with it properly. It just makes it easier for me, if that makes sense. When the forum's empty, I feel like I'm talking to myself sometimes tho. đ

Hi everyone, we've just released a big app update with many quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and some new features. These are all available on web as well. Please make sure your apps are updated to the latest version, 1.1.1, to see these changes! As a reminder, you can check out what we're working on and what's coming up next via the public roadmap (in the footer on web, in the more menu on the app)
Here's a list of updates:
We're working on monthly wrapups, reading streaks, and some prep for more stats next! We will also be making some additional enhancements to Quests (like: a book recommendations section similar to the Community Recs on book pages, stats for how many users earned each badge tier, and a feed tab like the new feed tab on book pages)
Thanks everyone and happy reading, Jennifer + Lucy

How do you deal with reading when you are away from home? Holidays, house sitting or just general travelling.
Do you fill up your ereader? Take plenty of books? Or does it just depend on where you are going?

immersive reading yay or nay? Do u think it actually made a difference for your reading experience and how? A lot of ppl mentioned to me how hearing an audiobook especially nonfiction while is a rlly nice experience but Iâd like to implement it âimmersivelyâ instead.
