The first half of the book had me hooked and then sadly it just went down hill. Like i understand that characters are allowed to have there moment of weakness and all that sorta stuff but this felt dragged out and dragged out and dragged out and so on. Until like the last 3 or so chapters when everything concluded. I 100% get the meaning of the book and the almost hidden message the author put in the book but no spoilers here of the message bc i feel like it would spoil a lot of the book. The things I did love of it was the world building and how the author took a lot of inspiration from Greek mythology, as sm1 who loves researching it. I have found soo many similarities to the mythology and it felt like the author wrote her own tail of hera whilst using everything else of Greek mythology. But some parts felt like the author didnt take creative freedom and just thought nah let's keep it the same as before, like I dont rlly and understand that part. Sadly I did not enjoy this as much as I thought i would also due to the fact of how long it took me to read the damn thing.
