  • Pagebound App: #31 in Books

I just saw that Pagebound is #31 under books in the App Store! (iOS). Yesterday it was around #23. I wanted to encourage those that haven’t written a review to do so! And also I was wondering what other actions can help pagebound get up there in ranking. ♥️

  • Comfort books

I'm feeling a bit under the weather so i just started reading and I've got a question for all of you. What is everyone's comfort book?? Like the book that you can reread an uncountable amount of times and still love it with your whole heart? The one where you know the whole plot but just find comfort with the characters and the world? Or maybe you don't reread this book but think about when you're sad? Or you don't have a book like this? If so, why?

    Gothic horror

Since this is the first book of the genre that I’m reading I’m a bit nervous about whats to come I’ve read some books with horror aspects before but not a lot Anything that i should brace myself for? Am i gonna be really scared or is it just gonna be spooky scary vibes?

Academia respected discipline, rewarded effort, but even more, it adored genius that didn’t even had to try.

Kuang’s prose is really 🤌 Excited to be transported to Hell (can’t believe I’m saying that lol)

  • Kindle vs Kobo?

I'm thinking of finally grabbing an e-reader as I've been tossing the idea for years now but have no clue which way to go. Kindle or Kobo?

What's everyone using + what do you love and hate about the one you have. spill the tea. I wanna know what's actually worth it before I commit 🩵💫

This book was everything I wanted and more. Even through the lens of gothic horror it felt real and relatable. They crafted him so well.

  • The Bewitching
    Thoughts from 51%

Reassessing my investment again at the halfway point and I think I'm interested enough to see how it ends, purely from a curiosity standpoint. I think the antagonists are being made WAY too obvious, though, and the way the dialogue and exposition is written continues to bother me.

  • Christmas Books? 🎄🎅

I KNOW ITS EARLY JUST LISTEN!!!! I was working on my Halloween TBR and I find that every year I know exactly what I want to read; horror. Horror and thrillers are like THE go to book for the spooky season. That got me thinking though,,, what is the Christmas season book? The only thing I can think of is those cheesy (some are good i have to admit) Christmas themed nickel paperback books. Other than the directly themed books, what books do you read for the jolly season? (Or what are you planning on reading?)

I’m so glad they picked this for a fall read. It’s haunting and dark. Absolutely perfect for the season.
