I've been putting off starting this for ages, wanting to reread the other grishaverse novels again to bring me up to speed, but I've got so much to read already and it just feels really daunting to reread 5 books again.
I've had the book for 2 years now and finally decided to just go for it. So far I've had no issues reintegrating back in. Already enjoying it and looking forward to where the story goes

Hello! 🐈⬛
I know a lot of us have yearly reading goals about reading X amount of books, but I’m curious to know your reading goals that have nothing to do with numbers! Here are some of mine:
💜Finish any fantasy series (I read the first book of like ten series last year LOL) 💜Read more nonfiction - I’m a fantasy & sci-fi nut, so I’m hoping to break out a little bit this year! 💜Find a new favorite poet - I love poetry, and want to find more poets that cut to my core
Feel free to share!🥰

Post from the Legendary (Caraval, #2) forum
I read Caraval something like 8 months ago and never started this one; now i'm too scared to pick it up because i really forgot everything about the first except for maybe the main plot and some of the characters. So i'm asking: do you think i can manage to read it and understand it anyway? Does it start off strong or slow so i can get used to the world again? Otherwise i'm just not going to read it, or going to reread caraval first in a few months. Thanks in advance if you reply!

I'm so sad, this means I'm done with the Grishaverse:( I have mixed feelings about this book: the main reason i read it was because i fell in love with characters and ii just wanted another story about them, but, realistically talking it wasn't THAT interesting. The author surely did her job when it came to descriptions, the book is well structured and albeit you aren't interested in the plot she will keep you glued to the pages. It was also still way better than than King of Scars in my opinion. Some of the things felt a bit forced but I liked how she made us meet the characters from six of crows too. Leigh is also really good when it comes to telling more stories at the same moment, even if we had pov from Ravka, from Shu Han, from Fjerda, sometimes for Zoya's "adventures" she never lets you get bored and you don't forget about what happens. Last thing: the Darkling. I don't know if putting him in this book was a good idea. I certainly loved the character development and his attitude is really interesting but at a certain point i was just like "ughh when does this man die?" because it kinda looked like she ran out if ideas. I know it's not like that but she could've intoduced something new for sure. That said, i actually really enjoyed the book, these were just a few thoughts about the few things i was skeptical about

Hi fellow booklovers,
I'm planning on reading 26 books, one for every English alphabet. I need book suggestions.
P.S. Genres preferred - Romance, Contemporary, Thrillers, Mystery and Fantasy
Thanks in advance!
